Had an amazing time with my friends the food was good. However. The waiter i found was rude and unaccomodating making it extremely difficult to get started and his demeanour was extremely disinterested. He then essentially gave a service charge that we didn't know was optional by law. If I had known that It would not have been paid. Food was great waitor was poor. Considering we were essentially the only people in there. Put a downer on my birthday. Dissapointed.

My wife and I have always loved this place. Lived in Asia for 12 years so coming here helps to bring back some amazing memories. Both the food and the service are great. Particular dishes recommended are chicken gyozas, crispy duck rolls, chicken rendang, crab maki rolls, and lots of dim sum dishes! The owner also takes time to talk to the customers which is a really nice touch !!

We have been coming to Tootoomoo ever since it opened in (I think) 2013. It’s a great place to entertain visitors of all ages and dietary requirements, and we have always had very helpful and friendly service. The last time we ate there I left my glasses on the table and one of the staff ran after us on to the pavement to give them back to me. My favourite thing they do is duck and watermelon salad, which I think has been on the menu since the start. Gorgeous. Also fabulous espresso martinis.

Service was great, gluten free options like smoked chicken, schichimi squid brilliant if a little saltier than usual? Rending is always tasty and pull apart melt in the mouth. A friend hasn’t been for years and said it had improved. It was exceptionally hot, we were told we could move when we first sat down as in direct line from heater on ceiling, and when we did we all were less red in the face but still too warm! It is Feb though.

Bottom line is the food was incredible. Brilliant, large portion sizes made it great value for money. Im vegetarian and there were plenty of options and i didnt compromise on flavour or choice. It was also my birthday and i was surprised with the house icecream, a candle and a song! Nice touch. The one thing i would improve is the layout of the menu, it was quite hard to know where to look and what sections were which. The outside and reception area should not deter you - it looks smaller than it is inside the main restaurant. Would recommend!!
