Blending simplicity with big, bold flavours, Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea features a classy brasserie and 1st-floor bar. From multi-award-winning chef Tom Aikens, the hearty British fare at Tom’s Kitchen also pays homage to fine Italian, French and American flavours.

Seasonality is key to the bespoke Tom Aikens menu, with dishes such as roast fillet of sea bream with braised chicory and a heritage tomato salad, and breast of duck with a shiitake mushroom risotto. From the grill come juicy burgers and steaks served with triple-cooked chips, whilst vegetarian dishes include a courgette dukkha, fennel and turmeric salad, and a curried carrot risotto with fermented carrots. For dessert, the menu includes raspberry millefeuille with raspberry sorbet, as well as an indulgent chocolate & peanut butter marquise.

Brunch at Tom’s Kitchen features gourmet twists, with signature dishes including seasonal berry pancakes, truffle Eggs Benedict or Tom’s namesake full English. A varied kids’ menu is also on offer, served at breakfast, lunch & dinner.

An open kitchen with a wood-smoked oven, spit roast and grill brings a homely yet vibrant feel to this Tom Aikens restaurant. Classic cocktails and an impressive wine list are served at the bar. Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea also boasts 2 beautiful areas that are available for private hire.

I have coeliac so required the gluten free menu. It was disappointing, particularly when it came to desserts. Overall, the meal was OK but overpriced. The staff were polite enough but not very friendly. The confit duck ballotine was OK but I thought the duck a little dry. The pickled shallots were a delight but not enough of them. The smoked Cornish Haddock started well but it was an enormous piece of fish and I just couldn't eat it all. And about half way through I had had enough anyway - it was too rich and I struggled to actually taste the fish. It was also scalding hot, as though it had been in a microwave. The sweet potatoes were few, I don't know where the shiitake mushrooms were...but the pickled raisins were delicious - once I found a few of them at the bottom of the dish. I wouldn't return.

Good value menu but spoiled by the curried fish pie. The chef forgot to put in the curry and almost forgot the fish of which very little was present in a dish full of mashed potato

Great service but the quality of the food was average. We used the three course meal deal and the fish pie was very average and definitely not curried as stated in the menu and the steak was really poor. Risotto was great and starters and desserts were good.

An awful experience and meal - Did Tom Aitken no favours by offering a Star Meal Deal which was far from being anything other than an excuse not to go back there. The service was slow, we were seated upstairs where there was for the most part very little service. I thought the point of a Star Meal deal was to promote the restaurant and then get the customer to come back and order of the regular menu. Well the food was very average, almost Prezzo or Pizza Express standard ( ie low end mass catering ), and the four us all thought the food was very poor. The service was very slow ( considering they wanted the table back after 90 minutes, we actually took 140 minutes as everything was so slow. Even paying the bill we had to hunt a waiter to ask for a bill. I can’t believe a real chef took any part in the making of our meals, most likely prepared offsite and heated up to order. Mr Aitken should check out what he is serving up, I’m not surprised that on a Saturday night prime time, the restaurant wassn’t full. Maybe he has just given up on it.

Nice menu, good options, great food (loved the spicy hummus as a starter!), good service, nice ambience (a bit loud but OK)

Excellent, friendly staff, good wine, nice food and superb price quality!

The service was pleasant enough, but slightly lacking in warmth. After a shared "platter" starter, two main courses, one pud and four glasses of wine, the bill was
£130 +, including a "suggested" service charge. At that level, the food, although adequate, is disappointing.
