Please note that Tom's Kitchen Chelsea will be closed due to a scheduled refurbishment from 12th February to 20th March. You can however book from 21st March to see the exciting changes they have made.

Blending simplicity with big, bold flavours, Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea features a classy brasserie and 1st-floor bar. From multi-award-winning chef Tom Aikens, the hearty British fare at Tom’s Kitchen also pays homage to fine Italian, French and American flavours.

Seasonality is key to the bespoke Tom Aikens menu, with dishes such as roast fillet of sea bream with braised chicory and a heritage tomato salad, and breast of duck with a shiitake mushroom risotto. From the grill come juicy burgers and steaks served with triple-cooked chips, whilst vegetarian dishes include a courgette dukkha, fennel and turmeric salad, and a curried carrot risotto with fermented carrots. For dessert, the menu includes raspberry millefeuille with raspberry sorbet, as well as an indulgent chocolate & peanut butter marquise.

Brunch at Tom’s Kitchen features gourmet twists, with signature dishes including seasonal berry pancakes, truffle Eggs Benedict or Tom’s namesake full English. A varied kids’ menu is also on offer, served at breakfast, lunch & dinner.

An open kitchen with a wood-smoked oven, spit roast and grill brings a homely yet vibrant feel to this Tom Aikens restaurant. Classic cocktails and an impressive wine list are served at the bar. Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea also boasts 2 beautiful areas that are available for private hire.

Find Tom’s Kitchen London a 10-minute walk from both South Kensington and Sloane Square Tube stations.

The wrong order was taken, I asked for toms vegetarian brunch with no eggs as I don’t eat eggs and asked for an extra muffin with avocado instead - I was only given the one muffin and when I asked for the second I was told in 2 minutes but it never actually arrived.

I also asked for the large/ fat crispy chips with Parmesan and I was given fries - when I asked them that I had actually ordered the other chips they said they will bring me it which they did but it was not crispy and also I was charged for both !

I’m very disappointed with the service in overall !

    Great brunch

This was a disappointing experience for a supposedly Michelin star restaurant. The staff fell short on several occasions:

    (1) Failing to tell us that certain items had run out on the menu until we were ready to order. This baffles me considering this was a 7.30pm seating. Either the restaurant had under-ordered stock or there was a failure in the kitchen.
    (2) No warning that a loaf of bread would be provided, at charge, when we ordered a starter.
    (3) Lied to by the waiting staff that the starter came with crackers (hummus) when in fact it came with toasted, and now cold, bread.
    (4) Wine served and poured whilst the ordering patron was not at the table (shocking in all my experience of restaurants).
    (5) We were sat next to the 'corridor' for the staff despite 3 other more suitable tables being available. One presumed this was due to simultaneous reservations but these did not appear.

Overall this was a great disappointment for a meal that cost £150 and I think Mr Aikens should take caution in checking his restaurants are up to standard as this was sub-par and unworthy of time or money. The cheek of adding a service charge is incredulous and were it not for the waitress who assisted us with dessert being very helpful I would have insisted it was removed.

I truly hope this is remedied.

The food was extremely good but the service was questionable! The manager was quite stand of fish and the waitress seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Was dismayed to find that service was pre added to the bill !

We had the 3 course set menu. Choice was extremely good. The salmon starter and kedgeree main course were lovely and the peanut butter and chocolate marquis was superb. Staff very friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit. Only down side the toilets let the standard of the restaurant down. However, I do understand they are closing shortly for refurbishment.

The Vegan sharing board was wonderful but the main dishes weren't as great as starters. Perhaps too much expectation..

The food here is always great, innovative, and unique. We miss Tom's flagship restaurant down the street so this has to do. The service hasn't been great here, but the place is pretty casual so we don't expect the same level of service we would at something more formal. They did, however, get us in when we showed up at the wrong time so kudos to them for being flexible.
