From award-winning celebrity chef Tom Aikens, Tom’s Kitchen Canary Wharf serves British favourites and comfort food classics in a relaxed atmosphere. A stone’s throw from the water, a heated terrace provides a tranquil spot for al fresco drinking and dining.

The Tom’s Kitchen menu sees timeless classics like beer-battered fish and chips joined by dishes such as roast fillet of sea bream with braised chicory and a heritage tomato salad, and breast of duck with a shiitake mushroom risotto. From the grill come juicy burgers and steaks served with triple-cooked chips, whilst vegetarian dishes include a courgette dukkha, fennel and turmeric salad, and a curried carrot risotto with fermented carrots. For dessert, the menu includes raspberry millefeuille with raspberry sorbet, as well as an indulgent chocolate & peanut butter marquise.

Brunch at Tom’s Kitchen features gourmet twists, with signature dishes including seasonal berry pancakes, truffle eggs Benedict or Tom’s namesake full English. A varied kids’ menu is also on offer, served at breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Wooden floors, leather booth seating and chic lighting make for an informal but contemporary setting. From the Tom's Kitchen bar, find an enticing range of wines and craft beers, as well as signature cocktails and 16 varieties of gin.

Good food however the service was slow. Eventually we had a lovely young waiter looking after us. But those around us were also chasing for service.

On arrival three members of staff walked past and ignored us not even acknowledging our presence and that some one would be along shortly
Restaurant was about half full and yet turned away guests who hadn’t booked Very surprised.

We were suprised by what they call a main dish was actually the size of an entree or even smaller... I ordered the lamb dish which had two tiny pieces of lamb and nothing else on the plate, no vegetables or potatoes... We were not told to order any side dishes to go with mains... The manager did give us two free size dishes and some discount so we appreciated the service on this end. But overall It was a disappointing experience. Some feedback to the restaurant would be create their main dishes to be actual main size dish. Even if we ordered sides the size of the meats were way to small..(If this was a main for a male it would have been worst!) The main dish was definitely not worth the price we paid and leaving the restaurant still feeling hungry is not a great experience.

The service was very good and friendly atmosphere. The starter we had was very nice. However, the steak we had as main course was too hard to cut although it was medium and mine had too much fat.

We went for the Bookatable deal. Had the pork belly with mustard sauce and the chocolate fondant. It was all very tasty and the meat was of good quality but on the whole we found the pork belly to be too salty and the service to be poor. I think our waitress was new and they were struggling with a big table but service was really inattentive. On the whole a fine experience and service could easily be improved as the wait staff get more experienced.

A little bit of a walk from Canary Wharf station but was quite scenic given the river and the Christmas lights. Nice ambience, good service.

I went for the pork belly, skin on fries (served with a free glass of prosecco). And for desert I had a fantastic mango sorbet and vanilla ice cream. Filling and good value for money.

This was a meal with friends. We had a really lovely evening. The set menu was excellent. Everyone was happy with their choices for all 3 dishes. My hake was superb.
On arrival, we were given a table near the door and asked to be moved. There was no hassle moving us. The staff were super friendly. We were not rushed, service was just right

We had the Festival Menu which was excellent value for money at 2 courses for £20 or 3 courses for £25 and both included a glass of prosecco !! Although we chose to have extra side dishes with our mains and a good bottle of wine it was still a reasonably priced meal. There was a good choice on the Festival Menu and the food was delicious. The staff were helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend.
