Originally from Pembrokeshire, Tom Simmons adds a Welsh touch to British and French-inspired dishes. Passionate about produce, fresh, seasonal dishes are served in a contemporary setting.
Pairing rustic flavours with modern presentation, The Tom Simmons menu begins with rich starters like duck rillettes with Glamorgan sausages, and confit pork belly with cauliflower purée. Hearty mains include black leg chicken with puy lentils, roast fennel and tarragon pesto, wild sea bass with Paris mushrooms and basil oil, and cote de boeuf with triple-cooked chips and roast bone marrow.
Finish a meal at Tom Simmons Tower Bridge with a selection of cheeses from Wales and beyond, or indulge in desserts like warm chocolate mousse with bitter chocolate crumb and passionfruit sorbet, or pineapple tarte tatin with liquorice ice cream.

Excellent food of the highest quality - we were very impressed with the distinct taste and presentation. A most pleasing experience - with the emphasis on Tom's Welsh heritage bing an added bonus for us (being Welsh ourselves). We will definitely be visiting again when in London.

Very good, food excellent and service efficient. I had cod which was perfectly cooked, a very well balanced plate of food. Everyone was blown away by the crispy layered potatoes - if there is once recipe I'd like to see from 2018 it's for these potatoes/chips. On the (slightly) negative side, several people commented that they found the food salty, but that could be due to the dishes we had? Also, I found the wine list a little limited, but not a big issue.

Five of us all enjoyed excellent food and wine. Four of us all had the duck which was a stand out dish. Service was very good and overall it was a great dining experience.

Although we were not off to the theatre we ordered from the pre-theatre menu. Food was excellent. The layered potatoes, which was an extra on the menu, was out of this world. Service was friendly, efficient, flexible and professional. I am definitely going back. My friend has planned to go back for a glass of wine and the layered potatoes! It's helpful that they offer carafes of wine so we had champagne to start followed by a carafe. Finding the restaurant can be tricky.
