The Carvery is to die for
20 November 2017
Inside a grand brick building set in Braywick Park, Toby Carvery Stafferton Lodge serves up a packed menu of home-style British flavours. Outside, there is al fresco seating on the sweeping lawn, making it a perfect setting for families and larger groups.
Featuring classic British roasts every day of the week, the Toby Carvery menu is renowned for its crowd-pleasing selection. Choose from juicy, slow-cooked meats, seasonal vegetables and hand-ruffled potatoes (with each one checked to make sure it’s gorgeously crispy). Tempting alternatives at this Toby Carvery in Maidenhead include allotment pie, and salmon with coriander and lime, while a varied vegetarian range includes the broccoli & brie parcel.
Old-school puddings are always on offer at Toby Carvery pubs, with famous signature crumbles served alongside chocolate & cherry torte, and baked vanilla cheesecake. The drinks list features beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks, and full-works, all-you-can-eat breakfasts are served each day.
A stunning setting for famed British roasts, Toby Carvery Stafferton Lodge is only 7 minutes' walk from Maidenhead Rail Station.

I came into restuarant to make booking as couldn't book on line for party of 13. Bit disappointed when arriving on Sunday 3/12 that tables allocated for us had people sitting at them - so we had to sit elsewhere and not all on one table! Also no more food came out after 10.15 Food was fine.

Food very good. A good range of well cooked veg. Plenty of choice drinks wise too. Attentive staff. If there is a ‘nit to be picked’ it might be that sometimes veggies can run very low before being replenished. Overall, a very enjoyable experience (as usual) and excellent value.

The whole eating experience was a joy. The carvery was very enjoyable and lots of lovely vegetables.
Service very good and also the atmosphere.
Only niggle order was taken on a phone which seemed to take quite a long time. Pen and paper were a lot quicker.

A very good evening, Michaela (I think) was no problem, on only her second day working. The roast potatoes were overcooked and had to be abandoned. Otherwise no problems at all.
