This was my fourth visit and the First visit after the new management Cannot hide my disappointment with the roast lunch carvery regarding both quality and quantity. I felt uncomfortable watching the staff struggling to cut the piece of meat as thinnest as possible. Yorkshire pudding was limited to one piece only. The beef was dry and looked awfully burnt. Maybe just on that day I went. My friends chosen the chicken and fish felt fine though and still generous regarding vegetables. Choice of tea was limited - no herbal teas. The setting is still neat and spacious, looked more open than before. Staff was nice. But I am afraid the traditional roast failed to inspire me to take or recommend my friends there in the future.
