Right next to tranquil Mitcham Common, Toby Carvery Park Place is set inside a grand building with its own al fresco seating area. Inside, Sunday roasts made with a selection of juicy meats are on offer all week, as well as menus for kids.
You're guaranteed a great British classic at Toby Carvery, the self-professed ‘home of the roast’. Choose from juicy, slow-cooked meats (including lamb every Sunday), seasonal vegetables and hand-ruffled potatoes - with each one checked to make sure it's gorgeously crispy.
Toby Carvery has a great range of vegan and vegetarian options to suit the whole family, with vegetables on the carvery deck served with a vegan glaze - no need to wait for new vegetables! All-you-can-eat breakfast is served daily and their extensive drinks range includes soft drinks, refillable Pepsi Max, beers, ciders and a wine list to pair with the perfect roast.
A great example of the Sunday roast for a reasonable price, Toby Carvery Park Place is 4 minutes' drive from Mitcham Eastfields Rail Station.

I booked a table for 8 and requested the round table and said one of our party would be in a wheelchair. I rang to double check the booking and was told where the wheelchair ramp and table would be. When we arrived we were greeted by a member of the team who told us where the disabled toilet was, which was very thoughtful of them. The chef on the Carvery had a fantastic personality and kept us all amused as we waited to make our choice of pork, turkey, beef or gammon. Everything was excellent and very good value for money. Having been to several carverys I would rate this as one of the best for customer service and good food. The staff must have been specially hand picked as they were excellent. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Although very busy everything ran like clockwork. A big choice of meat and vegetables plus gravies and sauces. I loved the coffee and mini dessert to finish too.

It was great as always. Good food, friendly staff and there's nothing like a roast on a Sunday.

Absolute chaos - but this is part of the charm. Great place. Fantastic roasts. My grand children love it.
