Booking a table was nice and easy and could not have been easier. Food was lovely and the best it has been. Have been to toby on several occasions and this was my best visit by far. The restaurant was very busy and the staff coped very well so well done to the team.

I would say they were understaffed as was ho.iday time just before Easter. We had to wait over 30 minutes before we got our puddings ( free of charge because we had complained). I have already complained to Toby Carverys. Food o.k.

We booked for Sunday Lunch, the first time we had visited Toby Carvery. My husband has 2 sticks and I mentioned this on booking. A convenient table had been reserved for us. We hadn't anticipated the long queue for the carvery and my husband cannot stand for long. However, Sharon, or waitress, found him a seat, and when I was close to being served, opened the barrier to let him through close to the carvery, and helped him with his plate, taking it back to the table for us. We were impressed by the choice of meats, and variety of vegetables. We will go back there at some point, but probably not on a Sunday Lunchtime. We will leave that for families with children and those a bit more able than ourselves.
