I don't mind some crunch to my vegetables (although my Mum needs them well cooked) but the cauliflower was pretty hard. Disappointed that apple + plum (?) crumble was not available - offered and ordered apple + banana crumble instead but couldn't detect any banana in it. Custard was cold.

The service was quite slow as the restaurant was very busy. Staff very friendly. The food was very good though, and we loved the mini desserts - apple crumble was delicious. One request - when giving customers tea, please put the bag into boiling water instead of leaving it on the saucer.

Here for the Carvery and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was very attentive in a very busy restaurant. I will certainly return, in fact I am, next Sunday!

Its okay the food was a bit on the cool side though the broccoli was undercooked and cold. I pre booked and arrived early I explained this to the chap at the door but he was'nt interested and just took us to a table. Service was a bit of a hit or a miss to be honest.l

Excellent lunch - really pleasant staff, drinks served quickly, and the carvery was excellent - the only tiny criticism would be that the plates were cold, but the food was excellent.
