We enjoyed a lovely Sunday carvery. Great waitress and service all round.

The staff at front of house presented as in professional. Once seated in the new " bar eating area " we were indeed greeted by a charming lady who took our drinks order . The queue at the Calvary was horrific and twice my 2 daughters went to check out the queue. Eventually we joined the queue with 35 people in front of us . We were all disappointed with the quality of the Yorkshire puddings , they were flat and just undercooked sponge . When I mentioned this to the carver he returned with fresh fluffy yorkshires . Several other customers followed my complaint .
Having eaten at your Sunday car very many times I was disappointed with the general cleanliness of the restaurant. There was an unpleasant musty smell and the fabric furnishings appeared worn and dirty .
The food was not up to the usual standard and was not hot .
The bill was nearly £ 50 and I will not be returning there .
    With kind regards ,
    Kia McGrath

Staff are friendly food is lovely better get there early as if you go late in evening carvery options get smaller but I love this place and would return time and time again.

I've been here several times as my young granddaughter loves it. The food is always good but the chef is very sparing with the amount of meat he gives out and sometimes the roast potatoes are very overcooked as they were yesterday. Some were virtually black. However, the staff are very friendly and attentive.
