A grand pub with a real homely feel, Toby Carvery Dodworth Valley is an inviting, family-friendly spot to enjoy traditional British recipes. Roast dinners are a speciality here, served carvery-style, and with a great selection of classic sides like golden Yorkshire puddings.

Featuring classic British roasts every day of the week, the Toby Carvery menu is renowned for its crowd-pleasing selection. Choose from juicy, slow-cooked meats, seasonal vegetables and hand-ruffled potatoes (with each one checked to make sure it’s gorgeously crispy). Tempting alternatives at this Toby Carvery in Barnsley include allotment pie, and salmon with coriander and lime, while a varied vegetarian range includes the broccoli & brie parcel.

Old-school puddings are always on offer at Toby Carvery pubs, with famous signature crumbles served alongside chocolate & cherry torte, and baked vanilla cheesecake. The drinks list features beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks, and full-works, all-you-can-eat breakfasts are served each day.

A great example of reasonably priced home-style dining, Toby Carvery Dodworth Valley is 12 minutes' walk from Dodworth Rail Station.

Excellent carvery. Attentive staff, all very polite.
Was extremely busy whilst we were there and very few staff, even though they were obviously rushed off their feet it did not filter
    Through to customers.
    Sunday 6.30pm arrived fab,e booked for 7.30pm.

The carvery was very nice. Everything was hot, as for the breakfast next morning, that was a bit chaotic.

Had a carvery and the meat portions was very poor and asked the chef to remove the beef off my plate as it was all fat

Hmmmm, not up to usual standard, Yorkkes flat (been stood a while, and only just warm) as was most of the veg, unfortunate, as it's usually good

we visited the dodworth valley as a treat with grandchildren and chose the carvery, but we were very dissapointed with the meal we had,the beef was stringy and tough, the roast potatoes were overdone and cold and the cauliflower was hard as a rock and uneatable,on the plus side the children's desserts were ok and the staff were very good,I cannot see us returning to this place in the near future or recommending it to anyone
