Flying the flag for the British Sunday roast, Toby Carvery Colwick Park is a classic pub that's suitable for the whole family. As well as the carvery-style delicacies on offer, there are indulgent desserts, children's menus, and world beers served at the bar.
Featuring classic British roasts every day of the week, the Toby Carvery menu is renowned for its crowd-pleasing selection. Choose from juicy, slow-cooked meats, seasonal vegetables and hand-ruffled potatoes (with each one checked to make sure it’s gorgeously crispy). Tempting alternatives at this Toby Carvery in Nottingham include allotment pie, and salmon with coriander and lime, while a varied vegetarian range includes the broccoli & brie parcel.
Old-school puddings are always on offer at Toby Carvery pubs, with famous signature crumbles served alongside chocolate & cherry torte, and baked vanilla cheesecake. The drinks list features beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks, and full-works, all-you-can-eat breakfasts are served each day.
Unpretentious and reasonably priced, Toby Carvery Colwick Park is a 3-minute drive from Netherfield Rail Station.

I love a Sunday Roast, but not the vegetables' So I feel the two small slices of meat are not value for money, and when I explain to the Chef that I will not be having veg and I ask for a little more meat please, the replies, can sometimes be sarcastic. As a share holder I would like to see the amount of meat to be a bit more substantial, it is after all a 'carvery' of meat not a veggie carvery meal.

Due to traffic, we arrived 10 minutes late, but it was no problem, and we were shown to our table by a very polite waitress. One of out group is a 95 year old in a wheelchair, and the waitress offered to remove a chair to make space, but I declined, as the lady in question likes to sit in a 'proper' chair. The waitress, Laura? was lovely, taking a drinks order, which was ready on our table when we returned from the carvery. Our elderly guest stayed at the table, while we fetched her meal, along with our own. The chap carving offered to take the extra meal to our table - a nice touch. The meal was lovely, nice and hot. The only tiny gripe is that the cauliflower was not covered with cheese sauce as it always has been, but was plain - I like the cheese best!
Three of us had desserts, all ice cream based, which were very tasty, and one of us had a pot of tea.
All in all, a nice meal for five, at a reasonable cost.

Servings of meat are a little on small side and some if vegetables were a little underdone

Food was nice. We had responded fillable drinks, this was a bit of a nightmare as only 1 drink machine to service whole pub so que was long causing food to.go cold. Tabke booked for 3.30 arrived at 3.39 and table wasn't ready as people still.sat so was.told to wait. Which I wouldn't normally mind however it was very busy and I had my disabled father and 2 children who are autistic with me and we had to stand in the middle of the pub between bar and entrance/exit. No sppology no offer to get a chair nothing. The manager was not as nice as the staff. Parking was an absolute joke.
