With exposed wooden beams and a rustic stone fireplace, Toby Carvery Cocket Hat is a wonderfully inviting pub in Aberdeen. Roast dinners are a speciality, served with all the trimmings, while kids get their own special menus to choose from too.
You're guaranteed a great British classic at Toby Carvery, the self-professed ‘home of the roast’. Choose from juicy, slow-cooked meats (including lamb every Sunday), seasonal vegetables and hand-ruffled potatoes - with each one checked to make sure it's gorgeously crispy.
Toby Carvery has a great range of vegan and vegetarian options to suit the whole family, with vegetables on the carvery deck served with a vegan glaze - no need to wait for new vegetables! All-you-can-eat breakfast is served daily and their extensive drinks range includes soft drinks, refillable Pepsi Max, beers, ciders and a wine list to pair with the perfect roast.
A snug eatery that's suitable for the whole family, Toby Carvery Cocket Hat is 8 minutes' drive from Aberdeen Rail Station.

An excellent night. The staff provided a great service. This was a birthday party and everything was relaxed and friendly. Just what we like. The meal was a carvery service but there was plenty of choice with no complaints. Overall a good night out.

Good choice of roasts and vegetables

I booked a table for 4 people for lunch at 12.30 p.m. and asked for a bench seat near the carvery, but when we arrived at 12.20 we found both bench seats were occupied by 2 people with kids. Very annoyed they did not reserve a table for us as we are all senior citizens. We eventually found a suitable table near the carvery. They had run out of food at the carvery so we had to wait for half an hour before they stocked it up. NO ROAST BEEF was available as it was finished and was NOT replaced with a fresh roast.

We all had carvery which was excellent. Waitress who greeted us was very pleasant and helpful. Another waitress took our dessert order. About 20mns later she came back to apologise for the delay. Another 20mns later we said we couldn’t wait much longer. She went to check and came straight back with desserts. If the place had been busy we would have understood but we felt we had just been forgotten. That apart we enjoy eating there and find the staff very good
