Table was ready when we arrived, service was good and our waitress was delightful. All the meats we tried were tender and delicious, and there was a big choice of vegetables and sauces.

Very busy meat portions were reduced from size of prev visits(several) there were 5 in our party but the same applied to people near us . Abundant veg of good quality and hot. Table adequate for our needs and service efficient apart from one pudding served with custard when ice cream had been ordered. The Eton mess was an utter disappointment. It did it resemble the picture on the menu being 95% cream I refused to pay for it. We have been a lot happier in the past
