Great meal as always

Booking was easy and effective. We beat a rather large queue. Extremely busy but very efficiently run. The staff knew exactly what they were about me did it well. They helped us a lot with my 91 year old mother. However choosing and fetching her own meal was tricky . The meal was excellent. The new lamb option was great for me. The range of veg was good and the meal was hot The only bugbear was the queuing system which was not good for old and disabled.

Food was lovely but the only criticism I have is that the area where the meat is cut I feel should be wiped down regularly as it does not look appealing.

Excellent meal. There were 10 of us including 3children. Our waiter looked after us very well.

Surprisingly disappointing. We had the carvery and there were no Yorkshire puddings or gravy. When the Yorkshire puddings were ready they were inedible. The staff were pleasant as always and the desserts that were available were very good.

Booking was excellent - food couldn't be faulted, although I've never experienced a Carvery in Scotland where you couldn't go and get a second helping even if only a few more vegetables. Service was very slow, after being shown to our table we were virtually abandoned as the waitress allocated to our table had not arrived in for her shift at that point. No-one even as much came to offer us drinks or even explain the situation regarding staff. The ladies toilets had no hand wash soap and considering this was early lunchtime I felt it was inexcusable. It was reported to the staff at that point and on returning to the toilets prior to our departure there was still no hand wash soap.
