A snug rural pub with outdoor seating for the warmer weather, Toby Carvery Captain Manby specialises in classic British carvery feasts. A great choice of tender meats with all the trimmings are served, as well as indulgent desserts.
Featuring classic British roasts every day of the week, the Toby Carvery menu is renowned for its crowd-pleasing selection. Choose from juicy, slow-cooked meats, seasonal vegetables and hand-ruffled potatoes (with each one checked to make sure it’s gorgeously crispy). Tempting alternatives at this Toby Carvery in Great Yarmouth include allotment pie, and salmon with coriander and lime, while a varied vegetarian range includes the broccoli & brie parcel.
Old-school puddings are always on offer at Toby Carvery pubs, with famous signature crumbles served alongside chocolate & cherry torte, and baked vanilla cheesecake. The drinks list features beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks, and full-works, all-you-can-eat breakfasts are served each day.
With a cosy ambience and special menus for the kids, Toby Carvery Captain Manby is a great family-friendly choice, and sits 15 minutes's drive from Great Yarmouth Rail Station.

To be honest , the last two visits haven’t been great, last week captain manny actually had no meat cooked, I had to wait nearly 2 hours for meat, my recent visit they had no gammon & very little pork! Not good for a carvery!
(**** 6 October 2017 by Mrs P from Lowestoft
Slow service, long queues, moody chef, hard roast potatoes, yorkshires like rocks, hard carrots, pork bloody and rare (had already asked the chef to swap my beef as that was rare and he was not happy so didn't dare say anything!)
Not one pleasant aspect of the meal.worst roast dinner I have ever had.
Took ages to pay too so couldn't leave for ages!
