Housed in a beautiful Georgian building filled with quintessential British style, Three Church Road restaurant, bar and terrace is a luxurious setting to enjoy all-day dining, including famed afternoon teas.

The Three Church Road menu combines classic British flavours with bold, inventive international tweaks, all made with the finest seasonal ingredients. To start, there are light options like cured salmon and crab salad with cucumber and squid ink, moving on to hearty favourites such as slow-braised pork belly with braised pig cheek, celeriac and burnt apple.

A range of afternoon teas are served at Three Church Road in Birmingham – all include traditional treats like delicate finger sandwiches, fresh scones and homemade cakes, but diners can customise theirs with glasses of prosecco, signature cocktails, or a classic gin and tonic served in a gin goblet.

Filled with luxurious furnishings and quaint British charm, Three Church Road is only 8 minutes' walk from the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and 4 minutes' drive from Five Ways Rail Station.

We were given a private room for our party of 10 for Afternoon Tea. Food and facilities were excellent. Could have done with another member of staff on duty as there was a 10 minute wait for the last pair of diners to get their food. Very good value considering the quality - including Pimms!

Our second visit, great atmosphere, very quiet and unrushed for a Saturday night. Lovely surroundings in an old house, tastefully renovated building, an old school?? Staff very attentive and food excellent. One little problem with a dessert but rectified immediately by our waiter. The devilled mushrooms were to die for!

Very disappointing! Lovely setting, friendly staff. Starters were very nice but main courses were a real let down. The 7oz steak, £4 supplement, was half full of inedible gristle and minimal vegetables. The tagliatelle was stodgy. The sauce was too thick as indeed was the pasta. No sides offered. A bottle of coke at £3.60 and the same for a bottle of water did not represent any value for money. The Maitre D gave a 10% discount for the steak but did not ask about the pasta at all. Overall the restaurant is in a lovely setting but until the staff concentrate more on serving good quality, well cooked food, rather than trying to sell apartments I would not return. Car parking is also quite difficult with few spaces on site.

Great Venue, really pleasant and friendly service unfortunately let down by the standard of food! We had afternoon tea here on Saturday afternoon, firstly the venue is really high end and I can only imagine an evening dining experience being a great visual experience. The service was really friendly with just the right amount of attention. However 3 church road's afternoon tea food was below average, with some of the cakes being overdone and the sandwiches being less than ample.

A little gem of a restaurant, beautiful decor and ambience. Staff very welcoming and helpful a little disappointed in the few potatoe chips served with my steak, however wouldn't put me off from returning.

A lovely evening, very good service, a nice location, especially as it was warm enough to sit outside and an interesting menu. It was a change to eat out in peace on a Saturday night, no noisy crowds here! The only small ting was that our duck was a little over-cooked, but better that than under-done.
