A range of afternoon teas are served at Three Church Road in Birmingham – all include traditional treats like delicate finger sandwiches, fresh scones and homemade cakes, but diners can customise theirs with glasses of prosecco, signature cocktails, or a classic gin and tonic served in a gin goblet.

I booked the standard afternoon tea for 2, about 2 weeks in advance for a late birthday celebration. The restaurant is stylish inside and has a relaxed atmosphere. The customer service was excellent with the waitress checking on us during the afternoon tea and bringing out a treat for my friend's belated birthday without being asked. The food was well presented, tasted great and was reasonably priced. I would and have already recommended 3 Church Road to my friend. Would happily return.

I dined here with two friends on Tuesday 16th April. We enjoyed it very much and the service was excellent. The venue itself is light, airy and luxurious. The only quibble was my friend’s bowl of broccoli and green beans which she declared were tired and well past their best. The ends had not been cut off the beans and were black and they were undercooked.
We would visit again, perhaps next time for afternoon tea.

Delicious Sunday Roast. Every component was cooked to perfection. Fabulous service too, such passion about the food.
Had my glass of wine not have been unpalatable (for £9) I would have given 5 stars.
We will definitely return.

Booked for afternoon tea. Beautiful interior and friendly service. Food average; sandwiches were disappointing, all on white bread which was had stared to go dry. Difficulty parking if small car park is full as surrounds roads are double yellows or parking permits only.

This place is a hidden gem . I was unaware it existed at all until a friend told me . First impression was what fabulous decor it has . As a bespoke lampshade maker I’m interested in interiors and soft furnishings. This place has good quality pieces throughout. We have lunched here twice and both times enjoyed the quality of the food . Service is friendly and attentive. My only gripe would be with the parking , it is limited but that is probably something out if their hands . We plan to revisit this little treasure and next time try the afternoon tea , my mother said the scones were just the best !

Lovely pleasant setting. Fantastic staff and wonderful food. Very pleasant experience despite been the only customers in the restaurant we never felt rushed and the food was a very high standard.

The food, service and ambiance were all very good. We dined on a Friday night and were the only people in the restaurant which was unusual. The signage is not very clear so struggled to find the restaurant initially

desserts were nice and so were the scones and jam. tea was also lovely. nicely decorated restaurant - pleasant atmosphere, but too quiet at times.
the only issues we has were that the clotted cream was tasteless, and the vegetarian option for finger sandwiches was poor - one with cheese and one with cucumber
also there are parking spaces there but we were told not to park there as spaces were limited so ended up paying a lot in a NCP car park
