I was disappointed that the burgers had been replaced with the roastbeef n yorkshire puddings as I don't do Horseradish sauce but that was the only problem. The person who it was for was very happy.

We were quite disappointed with our alternative afternoon tea and the wild boar in general. We were seated by the window but the table next to us had last nights food still under the table. The food was not very hot and we didn’t think it was worth the money. Staff were ok but not very friendly and I’m not sure I’d recommend this to anyone or indeed return .

We had alternative afternoon tea. Delicious, plenty of it too. I was really hoping that there'd be some wild boar on it though. I'd seen a pic from a while ago where there was burgers on it but this has changed. I understand you've got to keep it fresh and change the menus. All in all though it was very tasty. The beef in Yorkshire pudding was to die for. Only things I would add are some boar and a second helping of chips so we had one each. Would definitely go again.

Friendly staff, welcoming environment and fabulous food. My husband also liked the fact there was no loud music going on! Will definitely be back

I loved the feel of the place, staff were welcoming. I had the beetroot and feta salad to begin with - could have perhaps done with a bit of balsamic (?) as it was a tad dry. I then had braised cheek - which was nice but a tad salty. The pinot was lush! Pricing was good - overall very pleased with our experience.

Lovely restaurant. Was very disappointed with the alternative afternoon tea however. For £25 pp I thought it was a bit expensive for what you got. 1 little bucket of chips, 4 chicken goujons but dont know where the chicken was!!! Just crunchy batter. Think the Yorkshire puds were frozen ones as they were still very cold on the bottom. Best bit was the pork pie, delicious. Just really disappointed with the quantity and quality of the food. Presentation was lovely. Ordered another coffee and waited over 20 minutes before paying and leaving without receiving it even though it didn't seem overly busy.
