Set against the idyllic backdrop of Edgbaston and Chad Valley, The White Swan Pub is a cosy retreat including log fires and comfortable armchairs. This refurbished country pub offers diners a modern British menu, and a large selection of wines, ales and lagers.

With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The White Swan menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest seasonal ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.

The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at The White Swan bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and eclectic sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.

The White Swan in Birmingham is just a 5-minute drive from Five Ways Station.

Went for sunday lunch, had a fantastic meal, great portion sizes and lovely drinks. Restaurant was very busy which was not a problem as I was still able to book a table easily. The only down side was due to the number of diners the service was slower than usual. Also some drinks orders were a little confused.

Disappointing. Dry chicken. Rock hard Yorkshire pudding. Barely any gravy and tough parsnips.
