Taking pride in its gorgeous, ivy-clad and whitewashed walls, The White Horse – Curdworth serves traditional British pub cuisine in an old Georgian building. In the picturesque countryside and set on the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal, it boasts premium views from its pretty beer garden. Interiorly, the pub attracts with its grand, wooden tables, warm log-fire and eye-catchingly decorated mantelpiece.
Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The White Horse menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The White Horse ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.
Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.
In the West Midlands country village of Curdsworth, The White Horse is just 10 minutes’ drive to Sutton Coldfield.

The meals were very good, the service from the waitresses was excellent but the waiting time between meals was very poor & unless that is improved I would not recommend.

Enjoyable meal with efficient service, only slight quibble was that one of the puddings ordered seemed to be different to what was ordered but still enjoyable and also there were many empty tables (I counted 7 but diners were turned away) perhaps they were short staffed, although this didn't effect us and our food arrived quickly due to this lack of diners.

Great service and staff behaviours. Meal was okay, possibly chose wrong main course. I found my burger a little bland my wife.chose a.ham hock which she found.fatty, also she hates peas and the saice.jad.peas in, not described on menu.

Overall not a great experience. I have been many many times but this was the worst. The atmosphere was far too warm and humid. The young waitor thst was supposed to look after our table didn't, someone else had to step in and take our food and drinks order. We waited at least 15 minutes to even get our drink. Food was good, but after finishing our meal nobody even bothrred to ask if we would like dessert, coffee or even another drink. So disappointment from start to finish. We ended up paying our bill and going elsewhere for drinks. Oh, and how stupid and ridiculous when ordering a Martini, it has to be a double as they don't serve singles.
