A beautiful Grade II-listed 13th-century coaching inn, The White Horse boasts a rich history, and was mentioned in the novel 'Nicholas Nickleby' by Charles Dickens. Enjoy fresh homemade recipes by the open fire, sample a drink from the dedicated gin bar, or sit out on the peaceful patio in the summer.
All kinds of gourmet pub grub is served on The White Horse menu, starting off with traditional bar nibbles like the Dingley Dell Scotch egg with brown sauce. A signature beef burger is served in a brioche roll with Baron Bigod cheese and hand-cut chips, with other classic dishes including the beer battered fish and chips, ham and mushroom stone-baked pizza, and the vegetarian wild mushroom risotto with truffle brie.
Dedicated children's menus are served at The White Horse in St Neots, while the dessert selection includes warm chocolate brownie with orange custard, and a proper British cheeseboard. From the bar, there are cask ales and world beers on tap along with a fantastic gin selection and international wines.
A lovingly preserved pub and restaurant, The White Horse is an 8-minute drive from St Neots Rail Station.

We had a lovely meal with friends. The menu, atmosphere and service were amazing. The food was great, I would recommend the gin soaked salmon starter, unusual but really tasty. Overall our evening felt like a real treat but at a reasonable price.

Fab food. Service amazing and great on allergies with nuts and chick peas.
A bit rushed as the kitchen closed at 9pm so with a table booked at 8pm the starter was immediately followed by the main. Would have preferred a break but put us off having pudding (which is usually my favourite). I would have booked for 7pm if I’d known.
We left something so returned and had lunch a few days later to have the best ox cheek pie and burger ever.

Booked a carvery online, but they no longer do them. We all had 3 courses. Food was lovely. Very slight comment would be no offer of butter for the starters with bread, we were given one small glass of water each, (no jug for the table) and they didn't ask if we wanted any more water or drinks. Other than that all was very nice, the proprietor was very welcoming. Will be booking again.

Cool reception when we arrived from guy behind bar. Once we got to restaurant, food and service excellent. Still some wrinkles to smooth out, no espresso for example, but we will be back

Very busy in restaurant but that is often a good sign. Plenty of staff around who were very polite, helpful and attentive. Food was excellent and not too expensive, so we would certainly go again. Only comment I would make is that after choosing the pie option on the menu, I was told that the pie changes every day and that in fact that wasn't the filling for that day. Changed to the steak which was a good choice as it was delicious.
