Friendly service, delicious food, good amount of choice from menu, good location plus fair pricing. Only one small criticism - our table of 6 was in a very dark corner!!

everthing was as expected as we have used several times as it is a halfway meeting point for family

We decided to go as it was local and they did food all day suitable for an early tea. To our surprise it was very quite with 4 members of front of house tea on we were expecting great service, however we waited 15 minutes to order drinks. By which time we'd read the menu and we're ready to order our food. Others were given drinks well before is and arrived after us.
The food arrived within 25 mins of our booking time and when asking for gravy for our daughter we got a somewhat surprised look from the waitress ( not every child needs kerchup). The mains took a while to turn up after we'd finished our starters, waiting staff walked past our table at least 5 times before clearing. Not one of the members of staff noticed my husbands empty glass we had to prompt a another drink.
Considering it was so quite the service was very poor, both of the young waitresses looked like they'd rather be somewhere else.
Such a shame it could have been so much better with a bit of motivation from the manager to look out for the little things that lead to up selling and good customer service.
