The setting is very pleasant and light for lunch albeit cold on a winter’s day. Whilst well presented the food was not very tasty. Celeriac soup watery and horseradish with the smoked mackerel was very blend and failed to give the contrast .

Beautifully presented avodado on toast with poached egg and really delicious. A fabulous place for an elegant breakfast and a quick visit to the Collection after. I bought quite a few Xmas presents in the museum shop. Lovely morning.

We found the special Christmas lunch special very disappointing - the turkey roulade was dry and uninteresting

A good unhurried and relaxed meal in light and airy surroundings. Good attentive staff but not intrusive. The fixed menus was good value and good portion sizes. Have dined here a few times before and never disappointed.

Lovely location. Pleasant, helpful staff, food good. We were offered a wine that was not from the year on the Carte - we noticed it, it was not pointed out to us.. We had a glass of something different instead

The best feature was the glorious atrium setting where there is atmosphere and you CAN HEAR each other speak. This is a restaurant I will return to definitely Fish was excellent. Vegetarian a bit 'pre-cooked'
