We had a great night there after a successful 5km run. Despite the crowd the service was quite fast and efficient. Food was absolutely great. It was not the first time and definitely not the last one either.

Missed out on the roast as arrived at 3pm. Had the chicken shnitzel was under seasoned and a little tough... nice chips tho :) our table was a little cramped and dark but other tables looked ok. Average experience. Good central pub with good selection of drinks.

It was rather disappointing . Nowhere near as good as our previous three visits. They had run out of most of the starters, which they didn't tell us until after we ordered. When the food arrive in quite good time, it was ok.

I love that you can reserve a table. The food and drink is great and the ambience is warm and eclectic. The fish and chips is always good and the crab cakes are great, they are just not very filling. I would love to see more pies.
