In the heart of the capital, right by the Viktualienmarkt, this is the number one address for anyone with a fondness for British cuisine. Since its opening in October 2001, the Victorian House has become an integral part of Munich's gastronomic scene, above all for those who want to get away from all the cold, clinical, minimalistic places to eat. As portraits look down at you from the wall, framed in gold, it is just one detail that conveys the ambience of an English Gentleman's Club (of course, women are also more than welcome!) There are sandwiches to nibble on and hot British food, including a typical breakfast with scrambled egg, sausages and Earl Grey tea. For an even more authentic experience, you can also take afternoon tea in the Victorian House!
