Very nice, staff were helpful and polite. Good value. Would recomend. Just a shame that the show at the Mayflower wasn't good, that spoilt our evening. We left at the interval!!!

Very nice building, the lady guitar and singing was a very nice feature. The food was expensive and the servings very small. Great that there was a vegan option, shame the price was the same as the other dishes for basically tomatoes and beans (also very small serving). Found the dining experience was very good, the food was very tasty, the value for money was exceptionally poor

With 8 dining for luncheon and a meeting to attend within an hour and a half we were served promptly by our waiter who was polite and friendly, meeting all of our needs.

Super friendly staff, food was delicious, tried the sea bream, very nice too as was the orange & almond cake for dessert.
Lovely decor & a lady singing, would definitely recommend & will go again. First time I’ve visited, some good reviews so decided on here as right opposite the Mayflower Theatre.

Very nice surroundings, offered water straight away (catching up on the USA here). I chose a crab starter, very tasty but could have done with more toasted bread. My wife's terrine was a bit rubbery but tasty. I had a burger main course, can't really get that wrong. My wife had a strange version of shepherd's pie, couldn't find the cauliflower puree but the pulled lamb was tasty.

Although the food was nice the portion sizes were small. I thought the main course was another starter.

I have eaten several times pre-theatre at the Vestry & never had a problem other than the timing got a little tight before our performance. This time was very disappointing. Firstly we were told we had the “special “ table as they had overbooked. This meant we were on a table on our own amongst unlaid tables. Then the food was very poor. The arancini starter was not crisp & was soggy. The prawn kebab had never seen a grill or griddle - they were tepid & looked like they’d been microwaved. My burger was tasteless & the cheese & bacon with it was tasteless - how can you get a burger wrong for goodness’s sake . This was the first meal I have not finished in a very long time & if you know me that is really saying something! The lamb shepherds pie was swimming in lamb water & the potato on top had obviously not been put in the oven or under a grill to brown. If you offer a pre- theatre service you need to rise to the challenge- the Vestry failed miserably on 31/5/19.
