Had a lovely meal here last night. The food was very tasty, although the menu is not huge. The staff were very nice although I have to say our waitress was very rushed and this was possibly because they could have done with a few more people working.

With roaring open fires warming rustic stone flooring, The Two Brewers is a historic pub and restaurant in Chigwell. A modern international menu is on offer alongside a range of silky cask ales and sophisticated world wines.

Poached chicken and tarragon, with a bacon and little gem salad, is among a selection of light bites on The Two Brewers menu, while hearty, robust mains include braised shoulder of lamb with dauphinoise potatoes, vegetables and a red wine and rosemary gravy. Popular pub favourites include beer-battered haddock and chips, and a juicy 10oz rump steak topped with horseradish and watercress butter and served with chips, pan fried mushrooms and a grilled tomato.

There’s also a selection of nutritious children’s dishes at The Two Brewers pub in Chigwell. Rich autumnal tones and chunky wooden tables grace the interior, and there’s an umbrella-covered al fresco area.

Top Golf Chigwell is less than a mile away from The Two Brewers pub, which faces Hainault Forest Country Park.

Food was nice but service poor, didn't get the sauces or extra glass of wine we ordered. Wouldn't go back.

We all enjoyed our meal, the pub was very busy and the staff were very stretched but still maintained a sense of humour

Good menu selection and we'll presented, tasty food. Service ok although some staff seemed a little inexperienced and could benefit from some extra training. Would definitely return all the same.

Arrived on time but staff could not find trace of my booking, however as I had copies of booking information and reminder they found a table for 5.
The service was good though a bit on the slow side mainly due to number of customers in the restaurant.Theg

I went to The Two Brewers for lunch with my family on New Year's Day. I had booked a table in advance and, when we got there, there was no one at the door to greet us. We waited for about ten minutes and then we went to the bar. We waited for another ten minutes to be acknowledged and finally we were shown to our table by a waitress who never even made eye contact or smile. We felt unwelcome and we left before we even sat down. We had never been there before and we will never go back.
