Close to beautiful rural parts of the historic and landmark Epping Forest, The Three Jolly Wheelers, built in the 1800s, offers traditional British pub cuisine. The classic red-brick and white exterior hides a charming pub, with a warm hearth, ornate mirrors and commodious sofas. There is also an al fresco beer garden for summer dining, from which you can enjoy the nearby countryside.
Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Three Jolly Wheelers menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Three Jolly Wheelers ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.
Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

Unfortunately we were very dissapointed with the service and quality of food on this occasion. The service was very very slow this was due to the fact it was very busy and the staffing levels were unable to cope. There were four of us dining. My son's original choice from the main menu was not available. We waited over an hour for our main course to arrive. We had all ordered the same main course, roast turkey. One meal came first, then some 5-10 minutes later the other three meals arrived. The first meal was cold and we had to send it back. The other three meals arrived minus the yorkshire puddings which we were told were still in the oven. We had almost finished our dinner before they arrived some 15 minutes later. The meals had been plated including the gravy. In the past the vegetables and gravy have always been served separately. Thus giving people the choice as to how many vegetables they want and how much gravy. There were only two vegetables apart from the roast potatoes; carrots and greens, which again was dissapointing as in the past the selectiion of vegetables has been good. The waitress was very apologetic and we were offered free desserts to compensate. To be honest it wasn't her fault she did her best in difficult circumstances.
