The restaurant was pleasant, staff helpful and meal very good. Hunter's chicken and coconut milk sorbet were both lovely dishes.

The restaurant ambiance was good lots of nooks and crannies table position ideal. The meal was disappointing, the food wasn't hot enough all Yorkshire pudding and gravy boat, the vegetables cold and soggy. I had turkey which there was plenty of and it tasted fine. No problems with the wine and the staff were very pleasant . As my wife had previously had lunch at the restaurant with a friend and enjoyed it, so we decided to take some friends for a Sunday roast, As I said disappointing however the wonderful weather saved the day.

Restaurant really nice atmosphere not too busy, nice sized table for 2 of us. Shown to our table quickly, food great. Issue was service which was very slow, it took us 20 minutes to get a drink from sitting down. It was aged before waiter took our order then for the food to arrive. We had to wait a long time for plates to be cleared and dessert orders taken. We then had a wait for the bill, overall we were there for more than 2 hours and whilst we were relaxed and not in a hurry it felt too long waiting.
