We enjoyed our meal very much. Fillet Rossini cooked to perfection, also slow roasted pork belly. Although pub very busy on a lovely Sunday afternoon, we had a great service from our waiter Simon.

Previously the residence of an ambassador and a private members club, The Thames Court near Shepperton still boasts a grand, countryside location to enjoy the traditional British pub cuisine. Hand-painted Delft tiling, oak panelling and eye-catching fireplaces decorate the sleek interior, and the exterior is a work of art, with pretty gardens and seating, and black timber and brickwork.
Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Thames Court menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Thames Court ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.
Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.
Adjacent to the River Thames, The Thames Court is a beautiful country pub, near to Shepperton and in Surrey.

Cod was raw in the middle, sent it back and got a replacement twenty minutes later when everyone else in our group had finished, but very poor quality fish, all batter. Another person in the group wanted the soup and asked if it was peppery, she was told no but when she received it she couldn't eat it, due to the amount of pepper in it! She didn't pay for it. We use this pub a lot, but recently have had a few dodgy meals and would now find it difficult to recommend this pub to anyone else.

Food very good - all four of us finished every bite. Love mini puds and coffee! Simon, our waiter, could not have been more helpful and friendly.

We booked Thames Court for 4 of us as we were hiring a boat for the day and wanted a quick lunch stop at midday (when it opens) on a Thursday in August. Just as well we booked as by the time we left it was packed inside and out and I doubt you would get in without a booking.
The service was pleasant but slow - we waited 40 minutes for our drinks (they were ordered, they just weren't served until I called out to the waitress to ask if we could please have them!)
The food came just after the drinks - so about 45 minutes.
The food was average. Not bad but not delicious. The Continental Meats pizza had a few bits of meat on but no sign of the caramelised onion. The breaded scampi was ok though the batter was a little salty for me.
The inside was a bit warm and stuffy (it was a warm day) until the people by the french windows requested them opened and then there was a bit more air.
We were there well over an hour and a half to have one course so not the quick stop we hoped for and not particularly tasty either.

We took our friends to Thames Court and although the food was excellent my friend ordered a small fish cake that should have had roast tomatoes, broccoli and basil (I think) sauce. Unfortunately the fish cake WAS small, there were no roast tomatoes, only a small raw tomato cut in half, a small piece of broccoli and a few lettuce leaves - a very meagre meal indeed. When I mentioned to one of the staff he did compensate us with free coffees. Apart from that the staff and venue were excellent
