Lovely afternoon tea with 6 friends at st ermins. The gluten free option was fantastic, with all the same options as the standard tea. The desserts were very impressive, almost too pretty to eat.

The Tea Lounge at St Ermin's is a timelessly chic setting for luxury afternoon teas. An eclectic range of teas is on offer including classic, children’s and gluten-free options.

The St Ermin’s afternoon tea includes a range of teas alongside sweet and savoury delicacies. Amongst the luxurious sandwiches are smoked salmon and caviar, salt beef and horseradish, and cucumber and cream cheese. Follow this with a choice of freshly baked scones including triple chocolate and gingerbread, all topped off by delectable treats such as chocolate tiffin, peanut butter macaron, and orange posset.

St Ermin’s hotel in London is a fittingly elegant and extravagant location for such indulgence. With ornately textured ceilings, plush seating and traditional wooden furnishings, the Tea Lounge exudes sophistication.

Entered through a tree-lined courtyard, St Ermin’s in Westminster is a 2-minute walk from St James’s Park Tube Station, and a tranquil hideaway a short walk from many major landmarks.

A very lovely afternoon tea with a friend. Beautifully presented food - 3 finger sandwiches, 3 fancy cakes & 2 small scones each. Drinks were prosecco & a pot of tea of your choice. The cakes were works of art - particularly an apple & cinnamon concoction that was presented in a chocolate shell, decorated to look like an apple. Although there was a fair amount of food it was light - so we were able to eat everything offered and left feeling satisfied but not overfull. Service was very pleasant, polite and efficient. Definitely recommended.

My sisters and I had such a lovely time here. The afternoon tea was scrummy, nothing you couldn’t eat (if you understand what I mean!) and the prosecco was certainly free flowing. What topped it off was the staff being so lovely and friendly too. Thank you St Ermins.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings. Lovely tea and very nice Prosecco. Amazing mousse cakes which looked exactly like green apples. Very good and attentive service. There were some families there with young children and the staff were really good with them. It was Easter so the children were being given Easter eggs and it was a very nice holiday atmosphere.

Booked the free flow Prosecco afternoon tea deal as part of feast. The food selection was very poor. We were presented with menus and then not asked about choices. Selection of sandwiches and sweets brought to us, that seemed we’re different in different tables. Very boring sandwiches nothing exciting. Cold scones, no extra spoons or knives for jam and cream. Had to use our teaspoons. Free flow was generous but needed to be to make up for the rest.

the puddings were lovely, really nicely done, especially the one that looked like an apple.
unfortunately the sandwiches were all on white bread, would have been nice to have a selection of difference breads
the hotel itself is lovely and staff very friendly

Fabulous afternoon tea at St Ermin's to celebrate friends 60th birthday. The hotel itself it tucked away but has a impressive and welcoming lobby. On arrival we were quickly seated and our tea order taken, menu provided setting out the afternoon tea and then the Prosecco started to flow :o), the waitresses were very attentive and glasses (and tea pots) were frequently replenished, the table was set with pretty china and good quality linen and every element of the tea was beautifully presented, tasty, dainty sandwiches, warm scones (fruit and plain) with plenty of cream and jam and 3 types of 'cake' each type was imaginative and delicious (carrot cake profiteroles, salted caramel cream served in tiny flowerpots with edible soil and an apple & cinnamon dessert which looked and tasted amazing, finally they produced a birthday treat complete with candle (I had mentioned it was a birthday treat when I booked). Overall this was a real 5 star treat and fabulous value for money, we were advised that our table was available for 90 mins however as there was no one waiting to be seated when our time was up no one hurried us to leave, I would highly recommend a visit to St Ermin's for a special treat, there were lots of other customers and everyone seemed to be having a great time (it looked as if they did a special children's afternoon tea which looked great)
