A long wait before Sharing Platter arrived (20 mins) even though the restaurant was not busy. Items ordered from the Mains menu not available on the day. A little bit of a let down.

Great friendly service.
Delicious food. I came for the Sunday roast : ) Both myself and children ate everything. We had a lovely clean table, in a warm location. And the bill was only £28 for food for our table of three. Which is very very fair.
My only negative comment, and I only mention as so you can improve on what was an an extremely good dining experience; was that the Yorkshire pudding was very cold. Not a little warm. Very cold, as in fridge like temperature. Typically I didn't mention it at the time.

The restaurant was very busy and only a few staff on. Our table was booked for 1.30 and there was already a 45 min delay on all food orders. I ordered the chicken blt which was boring, more bread than anything else and not very hot. My pudding apple sticky toffee was excellent!

Not as good as normal. Cold food long wait.

Nice atmosphere. Lovely smell of the wood fire. Lamb was nice but 3rd choice as they ran out of beef and pork at 3pm. Yorkshire pudding said home made but resembled 'Aunt Bessies'.
They also forgot about our deserts and I had to remind them. Nearly 2 hours from start to finish.
