Enveloped in a lush corner of the Lincolnshire countryside, near to the beautiful Swanholme Lakes, The Swan Holme offers traditional British pub cuisine in a charming cottage-style inn. With an al fresco garden for summer dining, a cosy hearth-fire, and plush, comfortable furniture, The Swan Holme is a luxurious country retreat.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Swan Holme menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Swan Holme ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

The Swan Holme is just a 15-minute walk from Hykeham Train Station, or 10 minutes into central Lincoln.

Good food, great service. A lovely rustic pub with open fire. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Only thing was there was no actual children's menu for our 2 year old but we managed with a small portion from one of the mains.

Welcomed and shown to table quickly. Drinks arrived quickly. Food ordered without problem
Our meal: we both ordered pate starter, which was delivered quickly and well presented. We both found the flavours of the pate a little bland, but nevertheless enjoyable.
We had ordered steaks for our main plate. Mine was the 8oz rump, medium rare. The presentation was good, with chips and veg served separately, peppercorn sauce was hot. Unfortunately the steak knife was so well used that I had difficulty cutting my steak, and ended up using the regular knife.
My husband ordered the rib eye. Again well presented with extras on the side. He found this difficult to eat because of the amount of gristle and membrane. He would also have preferred the met to be cooked for a few seconds more. His steak knife had also been well used and made cutting into the meat difficult.
Not our nicest meal at this establishment, where we have been many times and always satisfied
