Set in the village referred to as ‘Jewel of the Cotswolds’, and boasting a terrace for sun-drenched dining in the summer, The Swan – Broadway is a traditional country-style pub & restaurant serving an unpretentious menu of tasty British food. The pub is warmed by log fires and features leather banquettes, chunky wooden tables & plenty of armchairs from which to enjoy live music nights.
Sourcing ingredients from trusted local suppliers, The Swan menu features wholesome recipes based around the garden, land and sea. Sample hand-pressed burgers, beef & ale pie with cardamom carrots, or sea bass with potato gnocchi, while old-school puddings include warming crumbles, custard-lathered sponges and decadent brownies. Not forgetting younger diners, a kids’ menu includes miniature versions of British classics.
A partnership with the celebrated Rothschild wine merchants means The Swan – Broadway cellar is stocked full with an eclectic list of world wines, while indulgent wine flights allow guests to sample a variety of bins. Seasonal beers and barrel-kept ales also feature, as well as thirst-quenching cocktails and rich coffees.

We regularly dine at this restaurant as it’s local to us. This particular occasion was a friends birthday celebration meal. Was rather disappointed on this occasion, they had ran out of most of the things we had chosen , this includes both food and drinks. Then got charged for something we didn’t have. Will still re visit, but hope this isn’t a sign of what’s to come in the future.

The restaurant has been refurbished since I last visted as not been living in this part of the world, I must say it is much better and has some lovely features as well as a good ambience, the outside area is much improved. The service was good with our particular host, food was good and didn't have to wait too long for it. I would recommed this as a good meeting place to eat and drink.

It seemed we picked an off night. It looked like they were understaffed I sat facing a large table that had been vacated before we sat down and it eventually was cleared and cleaned 15 minutes before we left, not a appealing site as a diner and it did spoil the ambience in a beautiful room. The beer garden seemed quite busy and that seemed the restaurants focus. Our meal was average and the service was indifferent maybe due to the busy beer garden.

We used book a table to book our table for seven people at The Swan, Broadway. Very easy with a confirmation email and a reminder email a few days before. The meal was excellent at The Swan, couldn't fault it. Our waiter Josh was really nice, he really looked after us. We never had to search for someone for extra drinks which made a pleasant change. I would highly recommend The Swan.
