Great place, nicely decorated and with a great view of the canals. Perfect complement: good food.

I've visited previously but it was a first for my 5 friends. They were all very pleased and commented on your staff. We will come again in the Spring/Summet for lunch so that they can appreciate the ambiance. Thank you and a merry Christmas and Hapoy New Year to you all. Coral

Great view, plenty of choice on lunch and brunch menus. Loved the Mulled plum wine. Pleasant staff

An utterly delightful experience from start to finish! I emailed to say we are vegetarian, but needn't have worried - plentiful choice for veggies. We knew the restaurant was by the canal, but did not realise how spacious and inviting the space would be. The staff are uniformly charming and helpful, the food simply divine (a chef who truly understands vegetables and makes innovative and tasty dishes) and a very good wine list. The food is very reasonable, especially for the quality, the wine is a little pricey. We shall definitely be returning, as there is much more we wanted to try. The one negative note was nothing to do with the restaurant, namely a very loud and boring Australian at the next table - but one can find those anywhere, whereas one does not always have such a delightful evening out at a charming restaurant.

It's a very nice location overlooking the Paddington Arm canal. We booked well in advance (3 weeks) and requested a window table and indeed we got the last one which was a good indication of attention to detail. In warm weather the open windows and hedgerow sills give the restaurant a particularly nice ambience. It was somewhat cold and windy on our evening so it did feel a little uncomfortable at times, even with the plastic window rolled down. The food was very nice and the portions adequate; overall it was very good value for London. The service was less attentive; the welcome was good but our waiter was somewhat surly and kept coughing behind me (maybe it was a bad evening for him) and it took ages to get our bill. But on balance, we'd recommend it.

Very ordinary food..not much choice, unimaginative, overpriced. Paying for being on the canal

The setting in warm weather alongside the canal is great. Food is good, service a bit lacklustre which is a shame.
