    I'd booked this 15 days in advance. On the morning of the day we were eating, I received an email stating that I had cancelled by telephone. I had not and I was travelling to London by train so a small panic attack. See below;
    "Saturday, 26 May 2018
    Party of 3
    Thank you for taking the time to call the restaurant to cancel your reservation. If you did not intend for the restaurant to cancel your reservation, please contact Summerhouse directly at 0207.286.6752."
    It was resolved by a telephone call. Phew!
    The meal was excellent, staff were very kind and efficient. I'd asked for a table overlooking the canal and we got one.

    Took my grandmother here for her 95th birthday, and as always, it was an absolute delight! We booked for a Saturday lunch and requested a side window table, which was kindly organised for us when upon arrival. Fantastic service, delicious food (always go for the IPA battered fish and sweet potato chips!), and a wonderful atmosphere- super cosy and relaxing. We cannot wait to go again!

    Excellent food. Excellent service. Very accommodating re the special dietary requirements and the waiter knew straight away what food was suitable and what was not. Very on the ball. Definitely come back again! Thank you.

    Fantastic restaurant, I believe it's under new management, seems to have been spruced up. Food creative, elegant and delicious. You're on the canal so it has a holiday feel. Best restaurant in the area, in my opinion. Service and staff very friendly and welcoming.

    Relaxing with canal views. Great fresh seafood. Fun at most. Unusual venue. Good for outing with friends or entertaining visitors

    Party of 4 for dinner. Ate from the set menu.
    Started with what was supposed to be ceviche, in fact some overcooked mackerel with a half of artichoke covered in oil and for main course very poor fish cakes, either bought in and reheated or the kitchen doesn't know how to make them. Strong impression that the kitchen is not up to the task.
    All told 45/person drink + service included.
    You're paying for the location, which may make sense in summer but out of season steer clear.
