Very accommodating staff and the chef gained extra brownie points by removing the bone from my sole before serving. I let it be known that I'm no good with bones!

I don't have time to give details. The food was excellent, the service very good indeed and we were given a lovely table. It is one of our favourite places to eat.

We booked into The Summerhoused based on the good reviews on Bookatable and were not disappointed. The menu features mainly beautifully prepared and presented seafood but there are plenty of options for non seafood eaters. We ordered four starters to share with our favorite dishes being the grilled Mediterranean prawns in garlic and chili oil and the confit of rabbit with pasta - both were sensational! The wine list was also really good and the service was friendly and professional - what more could you want for a lovely night out?

The food at the Summerhouse is always good, but the service is very slow, even more so than the last time |i was there. The wait between courses was very long, and I'm not sure it can be explained away by claiming that the food is freshly cooked as this is the case in any decent restaurant.
