Friendly staff and attentive. Menu not as stated on afternoontea.co.uk website. Sat in lobby not in restaurant. Bread a bot stale. Tea selection excellent.

The tea was very disappointing. The menu was drastically different from the advertised menu. The setting was a (crowded at times) hotel lobby. We would not dine here again.

We had a thoroughly lovely afternoon tea here on Mother's Day. My personal highlight was the goat's cheese, pepper and walnut sandwiches and the lemon tart. Some of our desserts were a little frozen but it didn't detract from the flavour. The service was excellent, and we were very fond of the pretty crockery used.

Excellent contemporary style afternoon tea. Savouries included some interesting options for fillings such as guacamole and refried beans and smoked duck with carrot and ginger as well as those you'd expect. Scones of a very high standard and again a range of options other than plain and fruit. A startling array of teas and infusions on offer, which you may sample before making your choice. Linn Wu served us and was an absolute star.
