Ate at lunchtime. Menu was varied but totally inflexible - unable change boiled potatoes for other options except chips despite other options prices are very high for pub food some flexibility should be offered. Service was atrocious - surly girl behind counter. She could even be bothered to add up the bill and left us to do it ( handwritten bill provided). We ate in a small room at side of bar as Resturant was closed. It was absolutely freezing. We we asked if heating could be turned up we were told to go and sit in the main bar but there were not seats available near the fire and the main door was left open for deliveries! We had to wait 1 hr 20 mins for main course and there was only 8 people eating!!!!!! Whilst the food, when it eventually arrived was good, this was totally marred by the appalling service. Such a shame and very disappointing!
