Holder of a Michelin Bib Gourmand, The St Tudy Inn is a cosy Cornish pub celebrating the best seasonal produce from the surrounding areas. Simple rustic cuisine, real ales and fine wines are served in a charming setting, complete with an open fire and elegant décor.
The St Tudy Inn menu evolves with the seasons but may include the likes of 8oz sirloin with rustic chips and tarragon butter, pork belly with mash and red wine sauce, or line-caught mackerel with honey and spinach. Amongst the tempting desserts, sample fig and almond tart with clotted cream, or the rich chocolate tart with pouring cream.
Sunday lunch at The St Tudy Inn pub comes packed with meat and all the trimmings, as well as offering alternatives such as butternut squash risotto with truffle oil or ale-battered haddock with hand-cut chips. From the bar comes a range of local ales, world wines and classic cocktails.

St Tudy Inn is a good place to go if you want excellent food in a light and bright setting. As I was at my holiday cottage in Boscastle, sorting out things pre season, a good meal was definitely what I needed. I visited for Sunday lunch and booked a table as it is popular.
A roast chicken with baby roasted potatoes and a delicious tarragon mayonnaise went down a treat. For dessert a vanilla pannacotta with berry compote.
The service was very good and there’s ample parking available.

The food was all beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, particularly the scallop, white bean and coppa starter and we will definitely come again. We made a comment to the waiter about the portion size of one of the main courses and this was quickly rectified by them serving up an additional portion which was very welcome and done by them with no fuss at all. Despite the restaurant no being full, we had to wait a noticeable amount of time for pre- dinner drinks to be served and whilst they had given us the menus, because we didn't need anyone to talk us through them, there was a routine the staff had to follow which meant that we had to wait for our table. These are only minor points which would make the experience perfect if they were rectified and shouldn't take away from the fact that the food is excellent.

What a delight. A short car journey from the bustle of Padstow is this tranquil welcoming inn. We went for Sunday lunch. Well priced. A good choice for each course. Nothing ‘fancy ‘ or ‘cheffy’. Just good food cooked with care and well seasoned. Starter of mozzarella and tomatoes with Thai basil was just perfect. A main course of roast chicken flavoured with wild garlic was as good as a roast can be. We will return

Whenever I come to stay with my brother and sister-in-law, I always like to take them for a meal as a thank you, and the St Tudy Inn is our favourite.
The restaurant is so comfortable, the atmosphere is relaxed and everyone is so welcoming and friendly.
The food is excellent and always enjoyable.
This time we had the scallops to start, my sister-in-law had the fish stew as her main course, my brother had the fish and chips; he can't resist Gurnard, and I had monk fish. To finish off my brother had chocolate mousse, and my sister-in-law and our favourite affogato, with the added bonus of the PX Sherry. A wonderful evening all round, here's to the next time.
