Enclosed by the wild countryside of Northumberland, The Snowy Owl is on the site of an old farm, with pastoral tradition a strong influence. The cuisine is classically British pub fare, and it has a fitting rustic stone appearance. Featuring a pretty beer garden for summer and a warming log-fire for winter, eclectic furnishings diversify the welcoming atmosphere.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Snowy Owl menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Snowy Owl Rest ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

At just 4 minutes’ driving from Cramlington, The Snowy Owl is a peaceful country destination, while being close to a town.

Food prices have all risen and really not good value for money. Fish and chips consisted of a piece of cod which is similar in size as early to a frozen portion of fish from supermarket. About 10 chips which were frozen chips a dried up portion of mushy peas £11.25. Steak and mushroom pies which were mostly mushrooms same price. Deserts of mallow mess was just that 2 slices of peach and one raspberry with a few pieces of merengue £5.75. Service was good but overall an overall over priced meal

Like the design of the dining area, traditional setting. Staff were very attentive and professional. Food was very nice. We opted for Roast beef Sunday lunch on this occasion. We have dined there on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed.

we enjoyed the meal but the service was very slow, it was fortunate that it was old friends meeting up so we hat a lot of catching up to do and we were not in a hurry

Four meals were fine , but one meal (fish and chips ) was very poor all batter but very little fish, which incidentally was very rubbery.
As if it had been reheated up after been previously cooked, a great pity as it was a birthday special event. No special treat was given for this
this occasion, a free drink for the birthday person perhaps!!
There was also a big delay in being served, the staff were good but there was not enough of them waiting in the dining area.
There were five of us for a meal, this Is the first time I have been to the Snowy Owl for over 4 years and the reason I 've not been back was because of the long wait!!
