A nautically-themed Fuller’s gastro-pub by the coast in Havant, The Ship Inn is famed for its fresh, locally-caught seafood. A converted mill, The Ship Inn oozes character with distressed wooden furniture and maritime decorations, and hosts a popular annual raft race.
An outdoor barbecue provides succulent meat offerings for sun-soaked al fresco dining, while fresh fish on the seasonal Ship Inn menu includes a seafood plank with mackerel, London Porter smoked salmon, whitebait, crab and dill cakes, cockles and whelks. There’s also a juicy burger, a 32 day-aged ribeye steak and a host of gourmet sandwiches, all of which can be accompanied by a wide selection of classic and New World wines.
Locally-brewed cask ales feature at The Ship Inn bar in Havant, with new options introduced frequently. An expansive patio area offers views out over the coast, with vintage ships' wheels and a full-sized rowing boat decorating the interior.
For those travelling in style by boat, The Ship Inn offers its own mooring. It sits on Langstone Road, looking out onto the Langstone Channel.

Good food and good service but not cheap. £166 for 4 people with 4 glasses of wine is on a par with London prices.

Fabulous meal - I had sea bream & because it was pie week - he had pirk Apple & potato pie. Both were very well cooked. Service was very good

The food was great and I was aloud to order from a set menu that I didn't want anything else from. So the waitresses serving us were very friendly and very helpful.

An excellent pub lunch with friends before a walk around the foreshore. Perfect weather and gorgeous views from our table. There was plenty of choice on the menu, mainly good pub grub served by lovely staff who could not do enough to make sure we were happy. We started with delicious mezze with plenty of bread and whitebait, followed by a choice of food; pie for me, fish stew for my friend, and salmon and lasagne for the menfolk, followed by home cooked puds and coffee. Very good value for money and a pleasant ambience.

Perfectly good pub food downstairs. The restaurant was closed so didn't get to sample it.

Choices on menu were generally very good. Portions of bread were a little mean as was the content of the fish stew. Service rather slow and had to remind staff on two occasions.
