Restaurant description

Inspired by its namesake in Africa, The Savannah has ethical and eco-friendly considerations at its heart while offering its own take on fusion cuisine in a stylish contemporary setting with quirky decor. The modern British menu has African and Asian touches and showcases fresh local produce.

The Savannah a la carte menu begins with dishes like beech smoked ham hock venison terrine and pumpkin emulsion risotto and moves on to slow cooked pork belly with braised red cabbage, black quinoa and tarragon stuffed guinea fowl and ostrich steak with red wine jus. Afternoon tea is also available.

Finish with desserts like chestnut pannacotta, mango coulis and dark chocolate soil or blueberry sponge and champagne ice cream. At The Savannah bar enjoy small plates and sharing dishes, as well as an extensive wine list and craft beers.

The Savannah London is a 4-minute walk from Euston Station and a 6-minute walk from Euston Square Tube Station.

Food of high quality but wine vastly overpriced, even for London. Reservation in restaurant cancelled without informing me. Poor customer service.

The menu had lots of choice. We struggled to narrow our choices down. We all had different meals and agreed they were all delicious. I had seafood linguine and the balance of seafood to pasta was perfect. It was really good value for money. The waiter who served us was friendly and helpful but gave us the space to enjoy our food and didn’t try to “up sell” by offering us endless extras. I was very impressed and will certainly return. I would recommend it.

Nice food and good service. The restaurant became very cold though and we had trouble flagging anyone down for the bill when it was time to go. Having said that I would give Savannah another try.

My family and I, (wife and our kids, aged 21 and 19) went for a meal here last Friday night and we really enjoyed it. We went for the Burger and a pint deal which was very good value as we got a burger, chips and a pint for £12.50. We were served by a lovely woman who was very courteous and polite and couldn't do enough for us as we specified a lot of changes, i.e. I didn't want the mushrooms or blue cheese with my burger, so she suggested putting cheddar on instead, My daughter wanted cheesy chips, my son didn't want anything on his chicken burger and we also got a bottle of wine. So the fella's of the party got a burger and 2 pints, and the ladies got a burger and a nice rose. It was a nice setting, and very good value for London I thought.
