The building housing The Royal Saracens Head dates back to the 18th century, when it was used as a coaching inn. It is thought that a 12th-century tavern built on the site counted Richard I among its regulars. Today, it is home to a gastro pub and open bar retaining many of its original features and serving a selection of modern British dishes with a Mediterranean flair.

With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Royal Saracens Head menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest available ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.

The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar at The Royal Saracens Head pub showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at the bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and eclectic sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.

The Royal Saracens Head in Beaconsfield is just a 3-minute drive from Beaconsfield station.

Food was good, unfortunately we had a waitress that was pestering us during our meals asking us to complete a feedback form there and then, because she needed good feedback!! Had to complain to the manager. Apart from that all good.

Food was nice, misunderstanding over when to serve the starter was frustrating but we were offered compensation so no complaints
Ver noisy environment even though we were a corner table.

We had a really enjoyable lunch. we were a party of 10 adults plus a toddler. Service was attentive despite the restaurant being very busy. Order came pretty quickly and the food was all good. it is not high end gourmet but it is very good value and a nice atmosphere. I have seen some negative reviews which I just cannot relate to. we had a lovely time.
