Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience starting with the location which is not at all as in the pictures online, the view which is a work in progress site, all the beers had a weird taste like it was the last bit from the beer barrel, the food was okish except the fact they messed up our order. We enjoyed our night out with our friends but definitely won’t go there again.

Despite being tucked away off the main road, the Royal George is always busy, with a lively atmosphere and reasonably priced food and drink. My friends and I generally stop in once a week for a catch-up, and the staff is always very good to us – friendly and accommodating, bringing water for the dog(s) in our company, and so on. We love the Royal George!

We wanted a nice pub with good food as we were had people coming from all round London. The Royal George did that and more. The pub wasn't noisy but nicely lively; tables with space for all 9 of us. The food was great.

The Royal George is a rare find in central London - a great combination of relaxed atmosphere, great classics but modernised, excellent value for money and a very helpful wait staff.
