Excellent service for afternoon tea. My wife is allergic to wheat and they made a fantastic effort to look after her. For each sandwich and cake that I had, a matching gluten-free one was made in house for her. It makes a nice change for somebody suffering with celiac to be provided with the same menu.

Very good. Lovely place and setting, decor inside was lovely. The staff were brilliant and very kind. Food was amazing. We went for the afternoon tea with prosecco. We had a very generous glass each (keep that up) and a variety of sandwiches and cakes. Sandwiches were lovely especially the cheese and sweet chili chutney. The scones were also amazing as was the jam. everything homemade.

The Roseate Villa is stunning, inside and out. It really is a very unique property in Bath, its got a palatial feel to it from the roadside. The entrance way is beautiful and cosy and the very warm smiles from all the staff there is genuine and delightful. I've had lots of afternoon teas, but this really is something else. It is absolutely beautiful, almost a shame to eat. Until you do! Then it is anything but a shame! It is incredible! Everything is homemade, by them! Even down to the bread the sandwiches are made from. This surely makes it as fresh as it possibly could be but also charming. I am a big fan of doing our bit for the environment, so the tiny carbon footprint this afternoon tea has also sits very well with me. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and the homemade decorated cake that I saw that had been made for another party could win awards for its beauty and detail in the icing. I cannot recommend this afternoon tea, Bed & Breakfast as a whole in fact(!), more!

Wonderful food, relaxed atmosphere and the staff couldn’t have been more lovely; for a surprise 70th birthday afternoon tea the staff made it a very special occasion. Good location, slightly off the beaten path, a ‘hidden gem’ which only adds to its specialness
