Housed in a restored building and enjoying an al fresco dining area, The Rose & Crown – Kings Langley is a traditional pub & restaurant serving a menu of modern British cuisine. Sourcing ingredients from trusted local suppliers, The Rose & Crown menu features wholesome recipes based around the garden, land and sea. Sample hand-pressed burgers, beef & ale pie with cardamom carrots, or sea bass with potato gnocchi, while old-school puddings include warming crumbles, custard-lathered sponges and decadent brownies. Not forgetting younger diners, a kids’ menu includes miniature versions of British classics.
A partnership with the celebrated Rothschild wine merchants means The Rose & Crown – Kings Langley cellar is stocked full with an eclectic list of world wines, while indulgent wine flights allow guests to sample a variety of bins. Seasonal beers and barrel-kept ales also feature, as well as thirst-quenching cocktails and rich coffees.

Ate here with our best friends on New Years Eve. Lovely food and excellent service. It was a set menu the food choices were very good. The wild boar starter with roasted vegetables deserves a mention as it was delicious. I had the cheese board for desert and asked if I could make a couple of changes as I didn't like two of the cheeses (because I am fussy!) this was not a problem. Overall a lovely evening where we were made very welcome from start to finish.

We chose to dine here due to their pure vegan menu, and were spoilt for choice. Portions not huge but we're filling.

Excellent food and excellent service and when my friend realised she chose a dish which was too spicy for her they brought an alternative without question. We were very impressed and will be back.

There was a party of 8 people. We all had a main course and dessert. Most eee in a fixed price special of £11.95 for 2 courses. Service was good. Food was excellent and staff very friendly. Lovely old fashioned style pub with modern cuisine. Toilets were a littke awkward to get to having to go up and down various stairs but the kids liked it has thought it was like a maze.
