Fantastic. Delisious food, best we had all weekend, great service and already recommended to a friend.

The Roman Baths Kitchen is a neighbourhood brasserie, which boasts stunning views of the Bath Abbey, Roman Baths and The Pump Room.

This characterful restaurant celebrates the very best of West Country produce. Choose from delicious dishes, fresh from the kitchen, including the West Country beef burger served on a brioche bun with fries, lettuce, tomato, gherkins, red onion & Applewood cheese, or feel good dishes like The Detox breakfast or The Superfood Salad with quinoa, beetroot, avocado, toasted walnuts and charred sweet potato.

Enjoy a full range of beverages including a selection of local beers and cider. With wooden floors and artwork adorning the walls, the restaurant is at once rustic and refined, outside seating provides the ideal spot for al fresco dining during the summer months.

At the heart of historic Bath, find The Roman Baths Kitchen a 6-minute walk from Bath Spa Rail Station.

Service on arrival was exceptional , we were made to feel very welcome despite several people queuing for tables and were taken straight to our table. We ordered a sharing platter for main and a cheese board for one person for dessert. Staff automatically brought two plates without us having to ask . Food was excellent and portion size was very good.

From the moment we entered the restaurant and during our stay everything was first class, we both ordered the fish and chips, this was best we have ever had, cooked to perfection, followed by dessert which again was excellent, the young lady that was our waitress again excellent, nothing too much trouble for her. You can rest assured we will visit again. Thank you so much

We were seated at a table in the window. We asked if we could be moved and were told other tables were reserved despite no one occupying them while we were there and no reserved signs. They did however find us another table which was ok. The starters were good but main courses were both poor. The aubergine and chickpea stew was flavourless and lukewarm - yes we could have returned it but we had already waited a long time. The pea tart was mediocre and accompanied with far too many tomatoes. On the whole wouldn't recommend it and won't be returning.

Initially, we wanted to go to the Pump Room restaurant but they were fully booked so we came to The Roman Baths restaurant instead and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. We started with a hot chocolate and cream, which was delicious, then we shared the meat platter followed by the belly of pork. Finally we had rhubarb crème brulee. Every course was lovely!
