Executive chef John Williams MBE showcases sumptuous palace-style cuisine in The Ritz menu, with signature sample dishes like fillet of monkfish with lobster fricassee or loin of venison with smoked parsnip and swede. The refined culinary delights reflect the finest seasonal British produce available.

The Ritz London has a dress code in different areas of the hotel as follows: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie (jeans and sportswear are not permitted for either ladies or gentlemen) for afternoon tea in The Palm Court and for lunch and dinner in The Ritz Restaurant and Terrace. In all other areas of the hotel (The Ritz Restaurant breakfast service, The Rivoli Bar, The Long Gallery), smart casual attire is required. Please note that shorts, trainers and sportswear are not permitted in any of the hotel's restaurants or bars.

On Friday and Saturday nights, The Ritz holds 'Live at The Ritz' -a glamorous dinner dance with a five-piece live band and a dance floor.

Excellent meal at the Ritz. Service was very good. When each dish is brought to the table, the waiter would have a brief information about the dish. I had the salmon and it was so tasty. The lamb cutlets u had was cooked to perfection and very tender. Well, the soufflé I had was to die for ??.

Impressed from first to last. I was dining solo and was greeted by name, offered something to read and as requested was given an unobtrusive table that was good for people watching. Felt pampered and cosseted. The food was beautifully presented and delicious and the Bookatable deal was excellent value. Gave the money I’d saved as a well deserved tip.

Wonderful food, service and setting. Issues: Lovely, efficient waiters but understaffing meant not as effective - re topping up wine glasses and getting the bill. Fabulous wine but v. v expensive.

Really enjoyed our lunch at The Ritz everything was first class I had the Duck pate and then Haddock both were exceptional My wife had the Salmon to start followed by Lamb again delighted
