Best feature of the restaurant was, of course, the decor. We liked all the dishes, quail, sea trout and banana shuffle. never tasted trout like that, nor such a good shuffle

Excellent service. Table setting and China , flower beautiful. Main dish was fantastic. I liked the little canapés and sweet treats. Waiters were polite and kind . Good atmosphere. Not pretentious at all. Tasty food and nice bread and butter. Very nice.

I think that the Ritz restaurant is one of the finest dining experiences in London and this meal was excellent with one exception. I chose a main course of turbot with white asparagus and morels and the asparagus was so rock hard that I could not cut it with a knife. It clearly should not have left the kitchen. I told the waiter and he brought me some green asparagus with hollandaise sauce instead. He said that he would make sure that Chef Williams knew about the white asparagus.

A wonderful dining experience - delicious food and beautiful venue steeped in history. Lots of lovely extra touches that we weren't expecting, including canapes and scrumptious freshly baked bread, exquisite petit fours after dinner - and best of all a little birthday cake each as my husband and I were celebrating our birthdays. Really enjoyed the live music which created a wonderful ambiance.

Excellent ambiance, service and experience. The food was surprisingly very good - duck foie, duck and lamb in particular.

The Ritz is a pretty icon to a bygone age and its white tie and tailed waiters live up to the expected charm and service. We had a delicious three course dinner with a good glass of champagne to start us off. Unsurprisingly all others drinks are on you. The portions were very small, so whilst I am usually happy with a normal restaurant main course, I devoured my dessert, glad not to share it with anyone else! My companions and I had a very special evening and I would encourage others to treat themselves to dinner at the Ritz.

Wow!!! Is all I can say , we had an amazing time , all the staff were so attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drink and couldn’t do enough for you. I had the smoked eel to start and it was delicious, all the food was impeccable and to a very high standard I will go back again for sure . We went as a special occasion for my daughters 18th birthday, I had a jam and fresh cream birthday cake made which was personalised .I would highly recommend the ritz to anyone and it’s worth the extra expense.
