Booking was easy and had a very enjoyable dinner. The soup (tomato) tasted very fresh and my main (gnocchi with pancetta and chorizo was also good). Service was attentive. Very rare for me to say this but actually thought the portions were too big - had to leave some of the chorizo due to the size of the dish (was also very rich)
Thought the atmosphere could have improved by closing the curtains - we were by the window but as it was dark there was just a black hole.

I took my mother for afternoon tea for her birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it. There was plenty to eat and a good selection of cakes. The only negative is that the waiting staff never smiled once, which was a shame but we would still visit again. Pendley Manor is a beautiful location and we are thinking to return in the summer.

We visited for afternoon tea which was a birthday gift from friends. The place is very nice and the tea was lovely unfortunately once tea had been served the staff left us without asking if everything was all ok. The grounds are beautiful. We were asked if all was ok but it was as we got up to leave.

Afternoon tea - a family celebration for Mother's 90th Birthday. Lovely setting, friendly and attentive staff.Children were kindly catered for, including high chair, and made to feel welcome. The afternoon tea was delicious, particularly the cakes and scones. However, a few more finger sandwiches would have been welcome.
